Engraving in stone is one of the oldest forms of communication and was already used in 430,000 BC to communicate between generations. The current popularity of Instagram Stories does however show us that we live in an era where nothing is eternalised anymore. On the contrary, it has become easier, and more popular, to carelessly spread information about yourself, knowing it will only stay accessible for a short period of time. Fascinated by time capturing; Artifact is a new way of eternalising imagery and is meant to make us think of what we share and how much we share.
